About This Agreement

These terms govern every vehicle hire with Ja Rentals Ltd. By placing a booking or taking the keys you agree to all terms.

Eligibility

• Named driver must be at least 18 and hold a valid full UK or EU licence for the full hire period
• Only the named driver may operate the vehicle
• Present licence, payment card, and proof of address (within 3 months)

Driver Conduct

• Drive with care and follow posted speed limits
• No reckless driving, racing, stunts, towing, or off-road use
• No driving while impaired
• No smoking or vaping inside the vehicle

Damage Liability

Any damage caused to the vehicle during the hire period, howsoever arising, shall be the sole responsibility of the hirer. By signing the agreement, the hirer accepts full liability and agrees to pay for all damages, repairs, and associated costs incurred during the period of their hire, including but not limited to bodywork, mechanical, interior, and consequential losses.

Authorised Driver Only

• Only the named driver may drive the vehicle
• If another person drives, the deposit is forfeited
• Vehicle may be immobilised and seized

Insurance & Exclusions

• Insurance applies only during hire while the named driver operates within terms
• Does not cover deliberate damage, reckless use, or breach of terms

Additional Charges

• Late return: £50/hr
• Fines: hirer liable + £25 admin each
• Unclean return: £50
• Fuel shortfall: cost + £25
• Alloy damage: £100/alloy
• Negligence / accidents: full hirer liability

Governing Law

Governed by the laws of England and Wales.
